Testing

Emergency light testing systems can be a blessing for a business with a single control panel can being capable of monitoring up to 128 devices. For larger installations, our SureLink software can offer monitoring on a greater scale.

Our SurePath systems routinely test and monitor the installed emergency lighting in accordance with BS EN 50172 and can provide testing and reporting which complies with BS EN 62034.  This means you are alerted if a problem occurs and have all the necessary documentation saved electronically if you receive a visit from a fire safety officer.

Our stand-alone SurePath system comes complete with full-colour touch screen, making the unit easy to programme and reporting is  easy to check.

Once installed, the system will carry out monthly function tests and an annual duration test

If there are no faults to report, the screen of the SurePath and SurePathBLE remains clear unless pressed.  By touching the screen in this mode, the user will see a green tick to indicate there are no functioning problems that need attention.

When a failure is detected, including battery, or charging problems, the display will automatically feature a warning triangle and, if set to do so, an alarm will trigger to draw attention to the problem.

If you wish to monitor more than one panel, then you can do this with our SureLink product which allows you to receive notifications to the device of your choice.

Connecting with SureLink

Our dedicated SureLink software has been developed to work hand-in-hand with SurePath to manage and control emergency lighting across large buildings or estates. In fact it link from one estate in the South to another in Scotland, for example.  It can link up to 50 SurePath panels seamlessly to offer a streamlined solution for your onsite network.  This one stop solution makes keeping track of an emergency lighting system on a large scale very simple, yet effective.  It is also as flexible as your team, as monitoring can be done remotely, onsite or both – depending on where you want it to be observed from.
