Surface Mounted Batten Luminaire

The Scholar LED luminaires provide simple installation, high light output, low energy and long life from a very attractive and price competitive package.

Ideal for all educational, commercial and retail applications and offering a perfect solution for applications requiring mains and emergency lighting with the minimum of fuss, Scholar batten luminaires are available in two lengths — 1200mm (up to 3770 luminaire lumens) and 1500mm (up to 4730 luminaire lumens). Scholar body finish is to RAL 9016. Installation and maintenance couldn’t be easier, via the ‘Easy Release Module’

Scholar luminaires can be specified with integral DALI/Self-Test gear providing automatic Self -Test in accordance with BS EN 62034 or fully interoperable DALI operation when connected to a DALI control system.

Operation:

The emergency versions utilise integral high temperature Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) batteries. Maintained versions can be used for standard switched mains lighting but will automatically provide emergency lighting in the event of a complete loss of normal mains.
